Manuela Lehmann is a scientist with extensive experience in the fields of gene therapy and neurobiology. Currently, at BioArctic since February 2023, Manuela previously worked as a scientist at QRIOS and held various research positions at Umeå University from June 2013 to 2022. This included roles as a postdoctoral researcher focused on CRISPR/Cas9-based gene therapy, a research assistant studying ALS disease mechanisms, and a Ph.D. student developing antibodies to investigate SOD1 species in ALS. Manuela holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Neuroscience and a Master’s in Molecular Biology from Umeå University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Universität Rostock.
