Régis Villet

Régis Villet, PhD, MBA, is a seasoned professional in business development and strategic alliance management at BIOASTER since January 2017, where a dual background in science and business is utilized to stimulate innovation in microbiology. Régis leads the Microbiology Unit, managing up to 15 collaborators and contributing to scientific strategy in programs focused on antimicrobials, vaccines, microbiota, and diagnostics. Previous experience includes leading biofilm-related research at the International Center for Infectiology Research (CIRI) and serving as a research associate at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, with a focus on antimicrobial resistance mechanisms. Régis's educational credentials include an EMBA from emlyon business school and a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Pierre and Marie Curie University.
