Stephanie Bussen

Stephanie Bussen has extensive work experience in the field of clinical data management. Stephanie is currently serving as the Director of Clinical Data Management at BioAtla, Inc. since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Associate Director of Clinical Data Management at the same company from April 2021 to February 2023.

Before joining BioAtla, Inc., Stephanie held multiple roles at Bristol Myers Squibb. Stephanie served as a Senior Manager of Clinical Data Management from July 2020 to March 2021, a Principal Data Manager from October 2019 to July 2020, and a Senior Data Manager from February 2018 to September 2019.

Prior to Bristol Myers Squibb, Stephanie worked as a Senior Clinical Data Manager at Intercept Pharmaceuticals from September 2017 to February 2018. Stephanie also served as a Clinical Data Manager at MabVax Therapeutics, Inc. from November 2016 to August 2017.

Stephanie's career in clinical data management began at Synteract, where they worked as a Clinical Data Manager from January 2012 to November 2016. Stephanie started their professional journey as a Research Assistant (Genetics) at UC San Diego from September 2006 to May 2011.

Stephanie Bussen holds an Executive MBA in Strategic Leadership from Valar Institute, which they earned from 2023 to 2024. Prior to their MBA, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from UC San Diego in 2011 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering from the University of Washington in 2005. Stephanie also holds additional certifications, including Certified Data Management Professional from DAMA International obtained in 2019 and Clinical Trials Design and Management from UC San Diego Extension obtained in 2013.
