Jean-Marc Vandoorne

Jean-Marc Vandoorne is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in the biocontrol and agricultural sectors. Currently serving as CEO of BioFirst Group since April 2024, Vandoorne oversees a portfolio that includes Biobest and BioWorks, which focus on sustainable biocontrol solutions for horticulture. Previously, Vandoorne held the CEO position at Biobest Group from October 2009 to April 2024, specializing in biological control and pollination. Vandoorne's earlier roles include Senior Vice-President at Alliance Laundry Systems, President at IPSO, Supply Chain Manager at ExxonMobil, and Manager at Arthur Andersen. Vandoorne holds a Master in Business Engineering from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, complemented by a foundational education at Onze-Lieve-Vrouwecollege in Antwerp.
