Pavel Yakovlev

Pavel Yakovlev is a seasoned professional in the fields of bioinformatics and computational biology, currently serving as Vice President of Research & Early Development and Director of the Computational Biology Department at BIOCAD since October 2012. With leadership experience overseeing a specialized team of over 30 experts and previously managing a bioinformatics group, Pavel has contributed significantly to projects involving high-throughput antibody sequencing, oligonucleotide design, and small molecule screening. Pavel's academic background includes a PhD in Computer Science with a focus on Bioinformatics, alongside a Master's degree in Bioinformatics and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, all obtained from esteemed institutions in St. Petersburg. Prior work experience includes roles as a Software Developer at EnergyindustryAutomatization and as an Intern Developer at BP.
