Julio Masabanda

Julio Masabanda has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Julio is currently working at Biocare Medical as the Director of Molecular Technology Development, where they are responsible for developing reagents for Multiplex ImmunoFluorescence on automatic stainers and collaborating with external partners on MIF experiments. Julio also conducts image analysis of in-house and collaborative MIF experiments.

Prior to their current position, Julio worked at Biocare Medical as a Senior Molecular Scientist from 2016 to 2019. Before that, they worked at Empire Genomics as a Senior Scientist and Consultant in 2015. At ID Labs, Julio served as an R&D scientist from 2006 to 2014. Julio also worked as a Research Associate at Brunel University London from 1999 to 2006.
