Anika Gupta

Anika Gupta, PhD, is a Principal at GV (Google Ventures) since March 2022, following a tenure at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard as a Bioinformatics PhD from September 2015 to July 2023, where the thesis was supervised by Eric Lander and Soumya Raychaudhuri. Anika has also served as a Biotech Correspondent for Timmerman Report and a Podcast Host for The Data Pulse. Previous roles include Venture Creation at 5AM Ventures and Flagship Pioneering, as well as contributions to Autism Genomics at Stanford University and Cancer Genomics at Foundation Medicine. Anika co-founded and co-presided over the MIT Biotech Group during the 2015-2018 period and completed bioinformatics work at Merck in 2015. Anika holds a PhD in Bioinformatics and Integrative Genomics from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Molecular Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
