Abijail Guillén

Abijail Guillén has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2013, they worked as an MRB Coordinator at Cubic Corporation before transitioning to a role as a Phlebotomist at Borrego Health in 2018. In 2020, they worked as a Clinical Lab Scientist Trainee at El Centro Regional Medical Center. From 2013 to 2021, they held the position of Responsable Sanitario at FEMSA. In 2014, they worked as a Teacher at Cobach. In 2021, they joined Grupo Pochteca as a Responsable Sanitario. Currently, Abijail is employed as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist I at Biocept, Inc.

From 2008 to 2011, Abijail Guillén attended the Centro de Investigación Científica y de Educación Superior de Ensenada, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Marine Biotechnology.

In 2012, Abijail Guillén enrolled at CETYS Universidad and completed a Diplomado in Project Management.

Between 2003 and 2008, Abijail Guillén studied at the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Pharmacobiological Chemist.

In 2017, Abijail Guillén attended MiraCosta College and obtained a certification as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician I, focusing on Health Services. They completed this program in 2019.

Furthermore, Abijail Guillén has obtained several additional certifications. In 2016, they received the certification "AGENTE CAPACITOR EXTERNO" from the Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social, and the "SICAD Sistema Integral de Capacitación en Dispensación" certification from COFEPRIS.

In the future, Abijail Guillén intends to obtain the following certifications: Medical Laboratory Scientist (AMT) from the American Medical Technologists (estimated year 2023), CERTIFIED PHLEBOTOMY TECHNICIAN I from the California Department of Public Health (estimated year 2023), and Clinical Laboratory Scientist: Generalist (CLS) from the California Department of Public Health (estimated year 2022).

Abijail Guillén also holds the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, which was obtained in October 2021.
