Michelle Dechene

Michelle Dechene is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of content engineering and biomedical research. Currently serving as a Content Engineer at Biocompare since November 2012, Michelle has previously held positions including Postdoctoral Research Associate at Brown University and Graduate Research Assistant at North Carolina State University, where expertise in protein expression, purification, crystallization, molecular cloning, and data collection was developed. Additional experience includes a Medicinal Chemistry internship at Celera and various roles during academic studies, including software engineering and environmental analysis. Michelle earned a Ph.D. in Functional Genomics with a minor in Bioinformatics from North Carolina State University and a B.S. in Biology and Computer Science from the University of Dayton.
