Dinesh Baskar

Dinesh Baskar serves as the Global Portfolio Leader at Biocon Biologics since July 2020, overseeing multiple projects within the product portfolio. Previously, Dinesh led a molecule from inception to launch as CEO. Dinesh's extensive experience at Biocon spanned over a decade, holding various managerial positions focused on cell culture process development for monoclonal antibodies using CHO cells. Prior to Biocon, Dinesh worked at Genentech, where responsibilities included cell culture process development and engineering solutions for monoclonal antibody production. Dinesh's early career included a research assistant role at Pennsylvania State University in the Bioengineering department. Dinesh holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the University of Madras.
