Yamunaa Elencovan

Yamunaa Elencovan is a Senior QC Microbiologist at Biocon since May 2018, leading the water and media team in the QCM Laboratory and participating in projects related to the qualification of water systems for new plants and lab expansions. Prior experience includes serving as an Associate QC Microbiologist at Biocon, conducting water sampling and analysis, and preparing in-house media, as well as working as a Quality Control Executive at GN Neutriceuticals Sdn Bhd, where responsibilities included creating SOPs and ensuring compliance of materials and products. Additionally, Yamunaa held the position of Lab Assistant at Wen Ken Drug Sdn Bhd, focusing on microbiological analysis and environmental monitoring. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology Industry with a focus on Microbiology from Universiti Industri Selangor, completed in 2015.
