Kimberly Nash Kelly has a long and varied work experience. Kimberly began their career in 1995 as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Kentucky. In 1997, they took on the role of Research Associate II at the UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY CHANDLER MEDICAL CENTER. In 1999, they moved to Worldwide Clinical Trials, formerly CEDRA Corporation, as an Associate Scientist and Project Manager. In 2000, they were promoted to Manager, Sample Control and Associate Safety Officer. In 2002, they moved to Goodrich as a Contract EHS Specialist and to Melinta Therapeutics, Inc., formerly Rib-X Pharmaceuticals, Inc., as an Operations Manager and EHS Officer. Kimberly was promoted to Senior Operations Manager and EHS Officer and then to Associate Director, Operations & Administration. In 2019, they took on the role of Chairman Of The Board at ThamesRiverInnovationPlace. In 2020, they became Managing Director at New Haven Innovation Labs and Board Observer at Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut.

Kimberly Nash Kelly attended the University of Rhode Island from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a BS in Animal Science/Biology. Kimberly then continued their studies at the University of Kentucky from 1995 to 1998, but did not obtain a degree.
