Carla R van der Boon

Carla R van der Boon currently serves as General Manager of External Operations for Europe at Biogen, focusing on business process improvement and operational excellence. Previous roles at Biogen include leading cross-cultural communication and logistics management as China and Japan PO&T Lead, and driving operations management as China PO&T and Supply Chain Lead. Carla's early career includes significant positions as Head of Office at the International Committee of the Red Cross and a Programme Assistant Researcher at Search for Common Ground. Carla also held the title of Programme Manager for ECHO at the European Commission. Carla holds an LLM in International Criminal Justice and Armed Conflict from the University of Nottingham and a postgraduate degree in Human Rights from Universidade Coimbra.
