Makoto Ito

Makoto Ito is a seasoned supply chain management professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as Senior Supply Chain Manager at Biogen since June 2023, Makoto previously held the position of Director, Supply Chain & Operations at Bausch + Lomb. Prior to that, at Abbott, the focus was on managing the supply chain for the rapidly growing COVID test device business. A notable career at Procter & Gamble spanned nearly three decades, with roles including Director of Global SK-II Supply Network Operations and Director of Asia End-to-End Supply Chain Planning Service Center Project, where significant supply chain transformations and enhancements were achieved. Makoto holds a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce from Meiji University.
