Michael Nicastri

Michael Nicastri is a Senior Scientist at Biogen since January 2022, following a role as Director of the Chemistry High-Throughput Experimentation Laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania from December 2019 to January 2022. Prior to that, Michael served as Interim Director of the same laboratory and worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Rovis Laboratory at Columbia University from July 2018 to July 2019. Michael's academic background includes earning a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania between 2013 and 2018, where research was conducted under the supervision of Jeffrey D. Winkler. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the College of the Holy Cross, obtained in 2013.
