Samir Koirala

Samir Koirala is an experienced professional in the biotechnology and life sciences fields, currently serving as a Senior Director at Biogen since June 2020, after previously holding the positions of Director and Associate Director within the same organization from 2017 to 2020. Prior to Biogen, Samir Koirala worked at Amgen as a Senior Scientist and Scientist from 2011 to 2017, and gained valuable research experience as a Research Fellow at Children's Hospital Boston, Harvard Medical School from 2003 to 2010. Samir Koirala holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Southern California, earned between 1996 and 2002, and a B.A. in Biology from Pomona College (1992-1996).
