Valesca Anschau

Valesca Anschau Ph.D. is an accomplished professional in the field of proteomics with extensive experience in drug discovery processes. Currently serving as Associate Scientific Director at Biognosys since August 2023, Valesca previously held the position of Proteomics Scientist at Scripps Research, where efforts focused on chemoproteomics and protein-ligand interactions. Prior roles include Senior Postdoctoral Associate at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute, collaborating with industry partners like Eli Lilly, and Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Valencia, specializing in quantitative proteomics and assay development. Valesca holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from USP - Universidade de São Paulo and has enhanced expertise through various educational experiences, including as a visiting researcher at multiple institutions.
