Austin Vong

Environmental Scientist at Biohabitats

Austin Vong is an experienced environmental scientist currently working at Biohabitats since July 2022. Prior to this role, Austin served as a Pollution Control Analyst for the City of Baltimore's Department of Public Works from October 2019 to June 2022, focusing on water quality monitoring and investigations. Austin's professional journey includes an internship at the National Aquarium, where observations were conducted on a dolphin colony, and a research assistantship at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where projects involved fiddler crab central complexes and mammal biodiversity. Austin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and is pursuing a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering and Science at The Johns Hopkins University. Additionally, Austin studied abroad at the University of Galway during the spring of 2019 and earned a high school diploma from Dulaney High School in 2015.
