Michael Lighthiser

Michael Lighthiser is a seasoned water resources engineer with 25 years of experience, currently serving as Principal Engineer at Biohabitats since July 2001. Specializing in the restoration of natural systems, Michael has led and participated in numerous restoration projects for streams and wetlands across various physiographic regions. Prior roles include Senior Engineer at Philip Williams & Associates from 1999 to 2001 and Hydrologist with the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic from 1995 to 1997, where Michael worked as an Environmental Sanitation Engineer. Academic credentials include a Master of Engineering in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a focus on Environmental Water Resources from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University.
