Adriana Kita

Adriana Kita is a consultant in Analytical R&D within CMC Biologics at Biohaven since January 2025, following a tenure as Director of Analytical R&D at Centessa Pharmaceuticals from March 2023 to February 2025. Previously, Adriana held the position of Associate Director in AAV Gene Therapy Analytical Development at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. from September 2020 to March 2023. Professional experience at Alexion Pharmaceuticals included roles as Development Scientist II, Development Scientist I focusing on Analytical and Pharmaceutical Development, and a position in Protein Characterization from March 2013 to August 2020. Research began as a graduate student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology was earned (2006-2012). Earlier roles include Associate Scientist at Biogen Idec in 2007, and internships at Pfizer (Wyeth) in 2005 and 2006, focusing on mass spectrometry and structural analysis of biologics.
