Elaine Hawkings

Elaine Hawkings is an experienced executive in clinical operations with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Vice President of Clinical Operations at Biohaven, Elaine oversees clinical trials in Asia Pacific and is the General Manager of BioShin, an affiliate in China. Prior to this, Elaine held the position of Head of Clinical Operations at BioShin from October 2018 to December 2022, managing trials in the same region. Elaine's previous roles include serving as Interim Head of Clinical Operations for Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson in Italy, where responsibilities included transitioning a large team, and a long tenure at Bristol-Myers Squibb from 1991 to 2017, culminating in the role of Executive Director of Regional Clinical Operations for Asia-Pacific. Elaine has a BSc in Pharmacology from the University of London.
