Matthew Buten

Matthew Buten is the current CFO at Biohaven Pharmaceuticals. Matthew has also served on the board of Sotera Wireless, Inc. from April 2014 to August 2016. Prior to that, they were a co-founder and partner at Argus Partners from January 2000 to March 2005. Matthew also worked as a managing director and partner at Needham & Company from September 1996 to January 2000. Additionally, they were a portfolio manager at Catapult / Millennium LP from June 2007 to June 2012, and co-founder and co-portfolio manager at Sapphire Capital from March 2005 to March 2007. Their other experience includes being a director at Smith Barney from September 1985 to September 1996.

Matthew Buten received a Bachelor of Science degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Matthew also holds a certification in Preventing Discrimination & Harassment from Traliant.
