Dave Colaizzi

Dave Colaizzi is an experienced entrepreneur and executive with a diverse background in leadership roles across multiple companies. As the co-founder and CEO of SignatureDx since September 2020, Colaizzi drives the company's research, development, sales, and marketing strategies. In addition, Colaizzi serves as Chair of the Board at BioHybrid Solutions, providing strategic guidance and overseeing critical leadership transitions and expansions. At Maitri Medicinals, Colaizzi contributes as a board member and investor, offering insights into the regulated medicinal cannabis industry. Previously, Colaizzi co-founded fivestar* in 1997, where leadership extended from CEO/CTO to chair of the board, steering the company through significant growth and advisory roles. Colaizzi’s earlier experience includes a pivotal role as Principal and CTO at Genelex, where efforts in rebranding and scaling operations culminated in the company’s acquisition by Invitae. Educationally, Colaizzi holds a BA in Business Administration and Italian Language Literature and Culture from the University of Pittsburgh.
