Paula Rivera

Paula Rivera is a Research Scientist at BioInnovation Institute, involved in using AI-based protein design to create therapeutic proteins for modulating cell signaling. Previously, Paula was a Master Student at BrainStem, working on hiPSC models of Developmental and Epileptic Encephalopathies. Paula also completed a Bachelor thesis on Lafora disease at Instituto de Biomedicina de Valencia and interned at Instituto de Biología Molecular y Celular de Plantas. Paula holds a Msc in Molecular Biomedicine from University of Copenhagen and a BSc in Biotechnology from Universitat Politècnica de València.
