Kevin Mertz

Kevin Mertz is a seasoned business development professional with extensive experience in the life sciences industry. Currently serving as Senior Director of Regional Business Development for the East Coast at BioIVT since May 2009, Mertz has held various leadership roles within the company, including Senior Director of Strategic Accounts and Director of Global Business Development. Prior experience includes a position as Business Development Manager for the East Coast at Caliper Life Sciences and Director of Product Sales at CellzDirect. Mertz began their career in the laboratory environment at In Vitro Technologies. A veteran of the United States Navy, Mertz served as a Boatswainsmate, Third Class Petty Officer and Search & Rescue Swimmer. Mertz holds an MBA from Northeastern University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Organization from the University of Maryland.
