Mattias Gäreskog

Mattias Gäreskog is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development, sales management, and scientific research. Currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer and Business Development Manager at BioLamina since March 2023, Mattias previously worked at Clockwork Bemanning & Rekrytering AB as Marknadsområdeschef Uppsala and Rekryteringskonsult. Prior experience includes a long tenure at Mercodia AB, where responsibilities ranged from Managing Director of Marketing & Sales to roles such as Acting CEO and Global Sales Manager, leading teams to enhance global sales. Mattias also has a strong academic background, with a PhD in Medical Cell Biology from Uppsala University, where research focused on diabetes treatment and complications, resulting in multiple publications. Throughout the career, leadership and strategic business development have been central themes, further complemented by early experiences in the Swedish Army and customer support roles.
