May Oo Khaing

May Oo Khaing has a diverse work experience in the laboratory and quality assurance field. May Oo started their career in 2006 as a Senior Medical Technologist at Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and worked there until 2009. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Biology Technician (Food Microbiology) at AsureQuality. May Oo then joined Parkway Pantai Limited in 2013 and worked as a Medical Technologist (Clinical Molecular Biology) until 2016. In 2016, they joined Covance as a Medical Technologist (Flow Cytometry) and worked there until 2017. From 2017 to 2020, they served as a Section Head at Parkway Pantai Limited. In 2020, they joined Real Time Biopolis as a Laboratory Operations Manager and worked there until 2022. In 2022, they worked as a Lab Manager at Eurofins for a few months before joining Biolidics Limited (formerly known as Clearbridge BioMedics) as a Manager (Clinical Laboratory and Quality Assurance). In 2023, they transitioned to the role of Manager (Laboratory Operations and Quality Assurance) at Biolidics Limited.

From 2001 to 2005, May Oo Khaing attended the University of Medical Technology and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist.

In the timeframe of 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Master's Degree in Biomedical Sciences from Cardiff Metropolitan University.

Finally, between 2018 and 2020, May Oo Khaing attended the University of Birmingham and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

In addition to their formal education, May Oo Khaing has obtained several certifications. In June 2022, they received certification in Internal Auditing from A2LA WorkPlace Training. In June 2018, they obtained a certificate in "Everyone Communicates Few Connect" from John C Maxwell. May Oo also completed a certification program in Medical Laboratory Diagnostics from EUROIMMUN in May 2018. Furthermore, May Oo Khaing obtained certification in "The 21 Irrefutable laws of Leadership" from John C Maxwell in November 2017, and they completed the Competency Assessment Program from the College of American Pathologists (CAP) in August 2013.
