Shreekant Vasudhev

Shreekant Vasudhev, MD FACP CLIA has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Shreekant has served as the Vice President of Medical Affairs at Steward Health Care since November 2022. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing medical affairs within the company. Additionally, they are an Associate Program Director, where they focus on guiding residents on quality improvement projects, resident wellness, and statistical analysis of clinical trials.

Dr. Vasudhev also holds the position of Center Physician/Lab Director at Biolife Plasma Services since November 2022. Shreekant ensures the smooth operation of the center and directs laboratory activities.

Further, Dr. Vasudhev is the Chief Executive Officer of Med Elite Inc, a locums staffing company for internists. Shreekant leads the company and ensures the quality of physicians provided to clients in the Northeastern USA.

Shreekant is also a Notary Public for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts since December 2021.

Previously, Dr. Vasudhev worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and as an Attending Physician at Baystate Medical Center. At Tufts Medical Center, they held the position of Clinical Associate and was responsible for quality control, teaching guidance, and career counseling for medical students.

Before starting their medical career, they worked as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Worcester. Their research focused on the role of the Alternative pathway of the complement system in Neisserial infections and the evaluation of a potential vaccine candidate.

Dr. Vasudhev also gained experience as a PGY1 in Internal Medicine at Carney Hospital, where they worked in various settings, including office-based, inpatient, and ambulatory care.

Furthermore, they have served as the Medical Director of PAM Health, providing medical care for patients with neurobehavioral conditions.

Shreekant holds the title of MD FACP CLIA and has a strong background in medical research, teaching, and clinical practice.

Shreekant Vasudev, MD FACP CLIA completed their primary, secondary, and high school education at Fr. Agnels from 1987 to 2001, majoring in science. Shreekant then pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Seth G.S. Medical College from 2001 to 2007. In 2012, they attended the Tufts University School of Medicine for the Internal Medicine Residency Program, which they completed in 2015. The same year, they obtained certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine. In 2017, they earned the FACP degree from the American College of Physicians. Recently, in 2022, they became a CLIA certified lab director from the University of Iowa.
