Kate Hunter

Kate Hunter has accumulated extensive work experience in the regulatory affairs field. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs at Biolinq, which they started in March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Regulatory Affairs at Biolinq from June 2021 to March 2023.

Before joining Biolinq, Kate Hunter served as the Director of Regulatory Affairs at SeaSpine from December 2019 to June 2021. Their previous experience includes working at Dexcom, where they held various roles such as Director of Regulatory Affairs from January 2016 to May 2019, Manager and Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs from November 2013 to January 2016, and Regulatory Affairs Associate from February 2007 to November 2013.

Kate Hunter's earlier career involved legal and research roles. Kate worked as a Contract Attorney at MKC Legal --Lerach Coughlin from October 2006 to February 2007. Kate also gained experience as a Legal Intern at the San Diego City Attorney's Office, Department of Consumer & Environmental Protection from January 2006 to May 2006. As a Judicial Extern at the California Court of Appeal, they served from May 2005 to August 2005. Furthermore, Kate Hunter worked as a Legal Intern at Elder Law & Advocacy from February 2005 to April 2005.

Their initial work experience includes serving as a Research Associate in Microbiology at Nereus Pharmaceuticals from February 2002 to August 2003. Additionally, they worked as a Science Corps Member at SDSU Foundation - Pisces Project from June 2000 to December 2001, where they collaborated with elementary school teachers and university faculty to enhance science education in public schools.

Kate Hunter's education history begins in 1994 when they enrolled at Florida State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre in 1998. After a few years, they pursued further education and attended San Diego State University from 1999 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. Kate's interest in law led their to enroll at the University of San Diego School of Law from 2003 to 2006, where they successfully completed their Juris Doctor degree in Law.

In addition to their formal education, Kate Hunter obtained the California Bar certification in November 2006.
