Praveen Kumar Baheti

Praveen Kumar Baheti has over 20 years of work experience in diverse roles and companies. Praveen Kumar started their career as a Senior Programmer at Lucent Technologies in 1997. Praveen Kumar later worked as a Project Manager and Technical Lead at Thaumaturgix Inc. from 1998 to 2001. In 2001, they served as a Product Manager and Solutions Architect at FormsNForms and as a Technical Lead and Solutions Architect at Vasishta Technologies. From 2003 to 2009, they were a Senior Engineering Manager at Mentor Graphics, where they built offshore development and quality teams and delivered multiple CHS applications. Praveen Kumar then founded Shramp Infotech, a start-up that provided custom application development services. In 2012, they joined Oakton as a Principal Consultant, delivering multiple projects from the offshore development center. Currently, they are Vice President Information Technology at Biological E. Limited, where they designed and implemented a modernization strategy and ensured IT infrastructure and services availability across multiple plants and offices.

Praveen Kumar Baheti holds a post-graduate certificate in Cybersecurity from MIT xPro, which was obtained from 2022 to 2023. Praveen Kumar also completed an executive program in Leadership and Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in 2012-2013. Additionally, they hold a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (1996-1997) and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Engineering from Osmania University (1991-1995). Praveen has also obtained several certifications, including Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance (2013), Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (2013), and a Foundation Course from ISTQB® - International Software Testing Qualifications Board (2006).
