Deborah Haarsma

Deborah Haarsma, the current President of BioLogos, has a strong background in Physics and Astronomy. Deborah previously served as Chair and Professor of Physics & Astronomy at Calvin College. Haarsma also has experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Visiting Assistant Professor at Haverford College. Deborah holds a Ph.D. in astrophysics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and multiple degrees from Bethel University, including a B.S. in Physics and B.Music in Piano Performance.
