Nevet Zur's work experience includes being a Research Assistant at Biolojic Design, Ltd. from 2018 to present. In this role, they plan and constructs DNA libraries, is familiar with various molecular cloning methods, plasmid purification methods, and molecular methods. nevet also builds and constructs plasmid vectors.

Prior to this, Nevet was a MSc Researcher at Volcani Institute from 2016 to 2018, where they conducted diagnostic, characterization, and genetic analysis. nevet used genetic and molecular methods such as BSA, SNPs, PCR, Fluidigm, and RNA and DNA extraction. nevet also worked with samples on a large scale. nevet also worked as a Lab Technician in The Official Seed Testing Laboratory at Volcani Institute from 2014 to 2016. In this role, they conducted morphology and molecular diagnostic testing of fungal diseases carried by seeds using a light microscope. nevet also wrote protocols and worked according to ISTA procedures.

Before working at Volcani Institute, Nevet was an Office Manager at belletto jewelry Ltd from 2013 to 2014.

Nevet Zur started their education in 2011 at Tel Aviv University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in life science. nevet completed their studies in this field in 2013. Later, from 2016 to 2018, they attended Bar-Ilan University to pursue a Master of Science degree in the Department of Environmental Biology. During their master's studies at Bar-Ilan University, Nevet specialized in peanut genetics and molecular biology, conducting research in the Peanut Genetics and Molecular Biology Lab.
