Sharon Goldsmith Fischman has a diverse work experience starting from 2000. Sharon began their career as a Term Assistant Professor at Barnard College in 2000 and then moved on to work as a Scientific Program Manager at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) for a brief period in 2001. In the same year, they became a Postdoctoral Researcher at Columbia University, where they worked in the Laboratory of Prof. Barry Honig until 2005. Following their time at Columbia University, Sharon worked as a Senior Scientist at Predix Pharmaceuticals from 2005 to 2006, and then at EPIX Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Scientist from 2006 to 2009. Sharon currently holds a position at Biolojic Design, Ltd., where they first served as the Director of Structural Biology from 2010 to 2020, and now holds the role of Senior Director of Structural Biology.
Sharon Goldsmith Fischman pursued their education at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine from 1994 to 2000, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry.
