Husain Kagalwala has a strong background in research and academia. Husain is currently working as a Research Chemist at BioLum Sciences since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Research Scientist at Southern Methodist University from September 2020 to June 2022. Husain also held the position of a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Carnegie Mellon University from September 2019 to September 2020, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from January 2018 to August 2019. Husain has also gained valuable experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Houston from September 2015 to December 2017. Husain completed their Ph.D. at Carnegie Mellon University from August 2011 to August 2015. Additionally, Husain worked as a Project Assistant at the National Chemical Laboratory from January 2009 to June 2011, where they focused on projects involving the fabrication and application of membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs) and the synthesis and characterization of oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) catalysts.
Husain Kagalwala has a strong academic background in the field of chemistry. Husain completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Inorganic Chemistry from Savitribai Phule Pune University between 2006 and 2008. Later, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry at Carnegie Mellon University from 2011 to 2015.
