Benjamin Thurmond

Benjamin Thurmond has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, most recently serving as Executive Director and Head of Business Operations for Strategic R&D Operations at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. from April 2015 to January 2023. Prior to this role, Benjamin held the position of Corporate Counsel at BioMarin. Benjamin's career also includes experience at Genentech, Inc. as an Alliance Manager in R&D Contracts from April 2007 to April 2015 and as an Attorney at Kerosky & Associates from September 2005 to April 2007. Educationally, Benjamin earned a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law and a degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
