Nancy Samberg

Nancy Samberg currently serves as the Lead Medical Scientific Directors at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. since 2023. Previously, Nancy held the position of Executive Director of Medical Affairs at Iovance Biotherapeutics, Inc. from 2016 to 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Site Head of Clinical Operations at AbbVie, Global Development Operations Lead at Astellas Pharma, and Associate Director of Clinical Operations at Cytochroma Inc. Additionally, Nancy has worked at QuintilesIMS, Omnicare Clinical Research, TAP Pharmaceuticals, and Pfizer in various managerial and director-level positions. Nancy holds a PhD in Immunology from Rush University, along with postdoctoral fellowships in Tumor Immunology from UCL and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, complemented by a BS in Biology/Chemistry from Saint Mary's College.
