Rachel Finnegan

Rachel Finnegan is a seasoned professional in government affairs, currently serving as the Senior Director of Government Affairs for EUCAN at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. since August 2020. With a robust background in public affairs, Rachel has led various initiatives across Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, managing relationships with political stakeholders and external partners. Prior to BioMarin, Rachel acted as the Director at Finnegan Consulting, providing bespoke EU public affairs consulting services, and held roles at FIPRA, Women AT, and the Toy Industries of Europe, among others. Rachel’s academic credentials include a Master of European Studies from the University of Hamburg and a Bachelor of European Studies from Trinity College Dublin, complemented by an ERASMUS program at The University of Freiburg.
