Ganesh Waghmare

Ganesh Waghmare, M.D., MPH has extensive experience in drug safety and pharmacovigilance. Ganesh is currently the Vice President of Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance at Biomea Fusion, a role they took on in January 2024. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Director of Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance at Biomea Fusion starting in February 2022. Before joining Biomea Fusion, they were the Senior Director of Drug Safety at Adamas Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from July 2021 to February 2022. From March 2020 to July 2021, they held the position of Sr. Director & Head of Safety Science and Pharmacovigilance at Arcus Biosciences. Earlier in their career, they held various drug safety and risk management roles at companies such as Tricida, Inc., Depomed, Inc., Threshold Pharmaceuticals, Gilead Sciences, Genentech, Baxter International Inc., and AtheroGenics. Ganesh Waghmare holds an M.D. and an MPH degree.

Ganesh Waghmare, M.D., MPH has a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a focus on Health and Medical Administrative Services from Loma Linda University. Ganesh also holds a Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.
