Johannes H Voigt

Johannes H Voigt has extensive work experience in computational chemistry and drug discovery. Johannes H is currently serving as an Executive Director of Computational Chemistry at Biomea Fusion since December 2022. Prior to this, they held the same role at Totus Medicines from March 2022 to November 2022. Johannes H also served as the Senior Director and Head of Computational Chemistry at Totus Medicines from June 2022 to March 2022. Before joining Totus Medicines, they worked at Foghorn Therapeutics as the Senior Director of Computational Chemistry from February 2021 to February 2022, and as the Director of Computational Chemistry from August 2018 to February 2021. Johannes H also served as the Director of Computational Chemistry at CHDI Foundation from May 2017 to August 2018. Early in their career, they worked at Gilead Sciences as a Senior Research Scientist from January 2013 to April 2017. Prior to that, they held positions at Merck as an Associate Director from October 2010 to January 2013, and as a Senior Principal Scientist from November 2009 to September 2010. Johannes H also worked at Schering-Plough Research Institute as a Senior Principal Scientist from July 2008 to November 2009, as a Principal Scientist from November 2005 to July 2008, as an Associate Principal Scientist from April 2003 to October 2005, and as a Senior Scientist from February 2001 to March 2003. Johannes H began their career as a Visiting Fellow at the National Cancer Institute from December 1997 to February 2001.

Johannes H Voigt obtained a Diploma in Chemistry with a specialization in Organic Chemistry from The University of Göttingen, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Johannes H further pursued their education at the same institution and earned a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Organic Chemistry from The University of Göttingen from 1994 to 1997.
