Ryan Merkler

Ryan Merkler has a strong background in accounting and auditing. Ryan most recently worked as the Director of Accounting at biomea fusion starting in December 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Assistant Controller at Fandom from October 2020 to December 2021, and as the Senior Manager of Accounting from December 2019 to September 2020. Before joining Fandom, Ryan worked at Pulse Biosciences, Inc. as the Senior Manager of Accounting from August 2019 to November 2019, and as the Accounting Manager from August 2018 to July 2019. Ryan began their career at KPMG US, where they held positions as a Senior Associate in Audit from June 2016 to August 2018, and as an Associate in Audit from October 2014 to April 2016.

Ryan Merkler completed their Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northeastern University in 2013-2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History with a focus on Europe from the University of California, Riverside from 2005-2009. Before their undergraduate studies, they attended Torrey Pines High School from 2001-2005. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (Attestation Licensed) from the California Board of Accountancy.
