Igor Peric

Igor Peric has had a diverse range of work experiences in the technology field. Igor started their career in 2011 as a Software Developer at Microsoft, where they worked as a Microsoft Student Partner. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Software Developer at Tracking In Motion, focusing on developing ball tracking solutions.

In 2014, Peric was a Robotics Engineer at CIRS - Underwater Vision and Robotics Lab, where they participated in the European robotics competition euRathlon 2014. During the same year, they also worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Braingaze.

In 2015, Peric joined the Human Brain Project as a Software Engineer, focusing on building virtual robotic environments and agents for the testing of algorithms for sensory-motor modeling. Igor also worked as a Senior Research Engineer at FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik during this time.

Peric then joined BioMech in 2017 as the Director of AI Research & Development, where they spearheaded the design and development of Coretex.ai, a general purpose data experimentation platform.

In 2019, Peric became the Managing Director at BioMech Sensor d.o.o., where they enforced efficient and legal conduct of international business between Serbian and USA legal entities, bridged cultural differences between teams, and managed expectations on both ends.

Igor Peric holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the Faculty of Information Technology, Slobomir P University, which they obtained between 2009 and 2013. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Technical school "Mihajlo Pupin" from 2005 to 2009, specializing in Computer Science.

Igor'spostgraduate studies include a Master's Degree in Computer Vision and Robotics from both Université de Bourgogne and Heriot-Watt University, completed between 2013 and 2015. During this period, they also attended the University of Girona for a brief time to pursue a similar master's degree in the same field.

In addition to their formal education, Igor Peric has obtained several certifications to expand their knowledge and skills. Igor received a certificate for completing the "Learn Rust by building real-world applications" course from Udemy in January 2022.
