John Lindner currently serves as the Head of Research USA and Head of Immunology Discovery at BioMed X Institute, positions held since August 2018, and also functions as Group Leader. Previously, John was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research from June 2014 to July 2018, and at the Max Planck Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics from October 2008 to May 2014. John's research experience includes studying transcriptional control mechanisms during B-cell development and activation, and developing affinity-based reagents against TSLP receptor complexes. In terms of education, John obtained a Dr. rer. nat. in Molecular Immunology from The University of Freiburg, following a Diplom-Biologie in Cell Biology, and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Microbiology and Immunology, along with German Linguistics, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
