Laura Schoppe is currently a PhD Candidate at BioMed X Institute, working in the team Extrachromosomal DNA in Cancer. Prior to their current role, Laura gained experience as a Senior Scientist at GSK and completed their Master's thesis project at DKFZ German Cancer Research Center. Laura also has a background in molecular genetics and translational biotechnology, having worked as a Research Intern at various prestigious institutions including DKFZ and Institute for Cardiomyopathies Heidelberg. Laura holds a Master of Science in Molecular Biosciences with a major in Cancer Biology and a Bachelor's degree in Biology and American Studies from Heidelberg University.
