Alberto Abate

Strategy And Innovation Marketing Director at bioMérieux

Alberto Abate has had extensive work experience at bioMérieux, starting in 1993 as a Country Product Manager and later progressing to roles such as Country Marketing Manager and Global Marketing Manager. From 2007 to 2009, they served as Senior Director of Cardiovascular and POCT Strategy. Alberto also held the position of Marketing Director from 2005 to 2007. In their most recent role as Strategy and Innovation Marketing Director, they were responsible for strategic planning and evaluating business development opportunities in clinical activities such as microbiology and immunoassays. Alberto also served as the Head of POCT Program and Cardiovascular Strategy, where they led the development of a handheld POCT system in collaboration with Royal Philips Electronics.

Alberto Abate attended the Universidad Nacional del Sur from 1982 to 1987, where they obtained a degree in Biochemistry. Alberto later pursued studies in medicine at the Sapienza Università di Roma from 1990 to 1991.
