Alfie Clarke

Alfie Clarke is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in microbiology and workflow consultancy, currently serving as a Microbiology and Workflow Consultant at bioMérieux since November 2002. Previous roles include Marketing Manager, where assessment of customer and market needs was conducted, and Product Manager for Microbiology, achieving a dominant market share in ID/AST and Blood Culture through stakeholder engagement and customer focus. Alfie has also worked as a Product Application Specialist, responsible for laboratory equipment installation and software customization. Additional experience includes serving as a Process Improvement Consultant at SCOTCH. Earlier in the career, Alfie worked as a Locum for the NHS and as a Medical Laboratory Technologist for Niehaus and Botha Pathologists, along with operational medical roles in the South African National Defence Force. Alfie holds a BTech in Biomedical Technology and a Higher National Diploma in Biomedical Technology from Tshwane University of Technology.
