Amy J. Davis

Amy J. Davis has extensive work experience in the field of molecular biology and research. Amy J. is currently the Vice President of Molecular Biology at bioMérieux since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Interim Vice President of Molecular Biology at the same company from February 2022 to March 2022. Before joining bioMérieux, Amy worked at BioFire Diagnostics, LLC as the Senior Director of Molecular Biology Research and Innovation from January 2020 to February 2022. Amy J. also held the position of Associate Program Director and Senior Program Manager at BioFire Diagnostics, LLC from November 2015 to April 2019. Amy has previous experience at IDbyDNA, where they worked as the Vice President of Operations from May 2019 to January 2020. Amy J. has also worked at the University of Utah School of Medicine as the Director of Research Program Development from June 2013 to November 2015 and at The University of Utah Brain Institute as the Associate Director and Interdisciplinary Research Manager from August 2007 to June 2013.

Amy J. Davis's education history begins in 1992, when they earned a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Biology at Penn State University, with a focus on Genetics and Developmental Biology. From 1996 to 1997, they served as a Fulbright Scholar at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute for Medical Research. In 1997, they pursued their PhD in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Utah, completing their studies in 2003. Following this, they became a Postdoctoral Fellow in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2004 to 2007.
