Bivash Chakraborty

Bivash Chakraborty has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. BIVASH started their career at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories in 1990, where they served as a Zonal Manager until 1995. BIVASH then joined Bio-Rad Laboratories in 1997 as a Senior Account Manager until 2000. At Bio-Rad Laboratories, they were responsible for managing key accounts. In 2000, Bivash joined bioMérieux, where they held various roles. BIVASH initially worked as a Regulatory Affairs Manager, overseeing the registration of products with the Drug Controller General of India and coordinating product evaluations. In 2020, they were promoted to the position of Head of Regulatory, Quality & Public Business for South Asia at bioMérieux. In this role, they are responsible for regulatory compliance, quality control, and government affairs in the region.

Bivash Chakraborty has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Zoology (Honours) from Calcutta University, Kolkata, which they obtained from 1983 to 1986. BIVASH also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Pharma Regulatory Affairs from Jamia Hamdard, which they obtained from 2012 to 2013. In addition, they have a certification as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor in Quality Certification from IRCA UK, obtained in 2015.
