Julien Defferrard has been with bioMérieux since October 2010, currently serving as the Associate Director of Augmented Diagnostics for the Americas and previously holding positions such as Regional Business Manager for the Western US and National Sales Manager for Canada. In these roles, Julien has led sales teams focused on improving efficiency and decision-making in the Food industry, as well as supporting Health and Personal Care sectors. Julien also served as Global Product Manager, overseeing marketing activities for the VIDAS platform and fostering connections in over 20 countries to enhance global food safety. Prior experience includes serving as an Account Manager at AES Chemunex from August 2006 to October 2010. Julien holds degrees in Biology from Ecole Supérieure de Microbiologie et Sécurité Alimentaire de Brest and also studied at Brest Business School and Institut Universitaire de Technologie d'Avignon, with a focus on biological engineering and food safety.
