Michael Lucido

Michael Lucido has a strong background in quality assurance and management. Michael is currently the Vice President of Quality for Americas Manufacturing and Global Supply Chain at bioMérieux, a position they began in June 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Sr. Director of Quality and Director of Quality at the St. Louis site of bioMérieux from July 2019 to June 2022.

Before their time at bioMérieux, Lucido worked at Virbac as the Director of Quality Assurance for North America from August 2014 to July 2019. Michael also held various quality management roles at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals from 2005 to 2014, including Site Quality Manager, Sr. QA Manager, Quality Manager, Principal QA Engineer, and Sr. Validation/Project Engineer.

Earlier in their career, Lucido worked as a Sr. Technical Services Scientist at Wyeth from 2001 to 2005, a Validation Engineer at Meridian Medical Technologies from 1999 to 2001, and a Validation Engineer at Raytheon Engineers and Constructors from 1998 to 1999.

Michael Lucido attended the University of Oklahoma from 1995 to 1997, studying Biochemistry. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Molecular Biology from Northwest Missouri State University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained certifications in CMQ/OE from ASQ in December 2013 and CQE from ASQ in December 2010.
