Nikola Denev

Nikola Denev is a Senior Bioprocess Engineer at BIOMILQ since February 2022, leading bioreactor scale-up and process development. Previously, Nikola served as a Bioprocess Engineer at Novartis Gene Therapies from October 2020 to February 2022, focusing on the manufacturing processes of gene therapies. Earlier experience includes roles at ImmunityBio as a Manufacturing Associate, where responsibilities involved operative improvements for yeast-based vaccines, and at ArcherDX, Inc., managing the manufacture and assembly of product components. Nikola began a career in academia as a Peer Tutor at the Community College of Denver, guiding chemistry and biology students. Educationally, Nikola holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and is pursuing a Master of Science in Biomanufacturing at North Carolina State University, expected to be completed by December 2023.
